Energy Control
Limited fat content prevents excessive weight in
adult dogs or excessive growth in large breeds
The Energy Control-pictogram stands for a limitation of
the energy
content. The amount of energy given by the food must be
adapted to
your dog's physiological condition, size and lifestyle.
Large breeds need
relatively less energy than small breeds. The energy content
in foods
which are specific to larger breeds should therefore be
limited.
It is mainly in growing pups of large breeds that an
excessive energy
content causes excessive growth and, consequently, skeleton
deform-
ities. Moreover, the energy content in foods should also be
limited
for overweight or less active dogs.
